Evergreen Purchases Terrapass Carbon Offsets – 2024

At Evergreen Credit Union, our on-site solar array produces the majority of our annual electricity demand. In 2024, our solar arrays combined produced 103% of our electricity consumption.

To off-set the electricity purchased to supplement our grid-tied systems, we purchase Terrapass verified carbon offsets based on the Direct Green House Gas calculated in our ENERGY STAR portfolio. These were 5.94 Mt CO2e and 3.17 Mt CO2e respectively.
