Want to earn some more interest and have funds that you wouldn’t mind tying up for a while? Then a Share Certificate (also known as a Certificate of Deposit) is the way to go! In exchange for letting us use your money for a specific amount of time, we pay you a higher dividend.
- Terms as short as six months or as long as 60 months. The longer you go, the more dividends you make
- Minimum deposit amounts as low as $1,000 for adults and $25 for minors
- Open in online banking or in person
Make sure you only deposit funds in a certificate that you know you won’t need to use for the duration of the term. If you need to withdraw the funds early, you will pay a penalty based on the original term of the certificate.
