Card Activity Alerts Are Your First Line of Defense

Example Card Activity Alert Screen in Evergreen Credit Union Mobile AppCard Activity Alerts are your first line of defense against unauthorized transactions. Using the ECU mobile app, you can receive a push notification to your mobile phone when a transaction is made following the criteria you set. They are available for Evergreen Credit Union debit and MasterCard credit cards.

Multiple alert configurations are available, including card not present (online), foreign transactions, and card authorizations (pre-approval). Notifications are sent immediately by internet connection.

Enable Card Activity Alerts

To enable notifications, go to the “More” hamburger button in the lower right of the ECU mobile app. Then select the card you would like to enable alerts for. Choose “Edit Activity Alert Settings” with the grey bell icon. This will bring you to the menu with all available options.

Note: Some transactions authorize immediately to secure funds. Some sites, such as Amazon.com, do not authorize until your purchase is finalized. Card Activity Alerts do not serve as an approval process and are for informational purposes only. They cannot be used to decline a transaction.
