Notice of Positive COVID-19 Case

Dated: July 22, 2020

MEMBERS: We were informed Monday, July 20th, that a staff member at Evergreen Credit Union tested positive for COVID-19. In the same time frame, a member who tested for COVID-19 visited the credit union to make a transaction. The Winnebago County Health Department has been made aware, and we have received their instruction on how to safely proceed. The employee in question last worked on Tuesday, July 14th.

Since our re-opening on June 8th, staff have been instructed to wear masks when conducting in-person transactions. Our lobby and loan offices have been equipped with plexiglass shields, and our lobby, teller stations, and offices were routinely sanitized during this time.

We already announced our lobby as closed and available by appointment only on Friday, July 17th, and we will continue to operate in this capacity for the foreseeable future. Staff members experiencing symptoms have been instructed to remain home, and employees in contact have received testing.

We will continue to monitor this situation and the procedures involved with the goal of keeping the health and safety as our top priorities for both staff and members.

As always, you are encouraged to stay home if you feel unwell, and our digital banking services continue to be available online and through our mobile app. If you need assistance, please call us at (920) 729-2999.
