Fee Questions

What does NSF fee mean?
The term NSF stands for non-sufficient funds. This fee is assessed when item(s) attempting to post to your account exceed the available funds. Once the available funds are exceeded all additional transactions will receive an NSF fee.
If your account is in good standing, Evergreen may pay NSF items as a courtesy instead of returning them to the payee. If courtesy pay is not available to you the item would be returned to the payee as NSF.

What does a Courtesy Pay fee mean?
The term Courtesy Pay is used when an item that posts to your account exceeds the available balance at that time and is paid as a courtesy for $15.00 instead of being returned to the payee as non-sufficient funds.

What is the difference between available balance and current balance?
Available balance refers to the balance of your account minus any charges that are secured at that time. Current balance refers to the actual balance of your account not including secured items or items that have yet to clear the account.
*It is important to note that outstanding checks, ACH, and debit card usage will not always be reflected in the available balance.

Why was I charged fees when I still had money in my account.
Fees are assessed based on the available account balance. Therefore, any debit card usage, checks, or ACHs that attempt to post to the account and exceed the available balance will incur a fee when they post to the account.
Using a checking account register to keep track of debit card usage, checks written, and ACHs authorized will help you keep an accurate account balance and avoid exceeding the available funds.

When in Online Banking, it stops moving and "gets stuck" when I try to login or make a transfer. How can I fix this?
If you get a page asking for your credit union ID: You may be using a link that you've bookmarked or saved in your favorites and this link may be outdated. Instead try clicking on the login button from our home page. This will ensure you are logging in through the most up-to-date URL. Or, try entering 520 in the credit union ID box to continue to the login page.

All of the page doesn't seem to download or gets stuck: In this situation we recommend deleting the temporary internet files and cookies stored on your computer's hard drive. This will force your computer to download the most current web content and prevent pages from "getting stuck".
