Membership is available to people living or working in Outagamie, Waupaca or Waushara or Winnebago Counties.

Once membership is established, families members of that member will also be eligible to join.  When a current member encourages an eligible person to join ECU, they will be rewarded wi a special gift!

Identity Theft Protection 

Internet education compliments of your credit union!

Phishing:  The act of sending an e-mail to a user falsely claiming to be an established legitimate enterprise in an attempt to scam the user into surrendering private information that will be used for identity theft. The e-mail directs the user to visit a Web site where they are asked to update personal information, such as passwords and credit card, social security, and bank account numbers, that the legitimate organization already has. The Web site, however, is bogus and set up only to steal the user’s information.

Please be wary of suspicious emails that request you to log in to CU@Home Online Banking and provide personal information.  We will never send an email that requests personal information, and our Online Banking service will never require you to enter anything other than the member number and PIN used to log on. Also, please check the URL in the address bar to make sure it reads https (which indicates a secured site) and that the name is correct at cuathome.org.  WE WILL ALSO NOT USE A TELEPHONE SERVICE THAT REQUIRES YOU TO ENTER YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION OR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.  Please contact your credit union directly any time you are concerned about a legitimate link or if a communication came from ECU.  Identity Theft educational reference materials and personal assistance are available at the credit union.

Evergreen Credit Union recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of personal information about our members and it is our goal to protect that information in every way that we interact with you, whether it be in person, over the phone, via an ATM machine or online through the internet. We strictly adhere to the following guidelines.

Our server collects standard non-identifying information about visits to our site, such as date and time visited, IP address, city, state and country. This information is used to compile standard statistics on the usage of our web site.

If you have provided personal identifying information via e-mail (such as name and address on an application), the information will be used to communicate with you to handle your request. Evergreen Credit Union maintains any information you provide over the internet according to strict security and confidentiality standards. Our web site does not include a chat room; therefore, no personally identifiable information will be publicly posted here. Evergreen Credit Union does not sell or rent member information to any outside company or organization.

We carefully select other service providers who share the same commitment we have in protecting your privacy. In some instances we may transfer member information to one of these providers. Some examples are credit bureaus or agencies who have a legitimate purpose for obtaining the information, as well as to comply with a court order or a request of a government agency or regulatory body, or we receive your permission to do so. Evergreen Credit Union does not sell member information to outside vendors.
